Our shared housing concept revolves around community and living together: for us, community comes before walls! In May 2022, we launched a social impact study among the 300 residents of our Casas: 92% of residents stated that La Casa facilitates connections with others and the development of friendships. We have developed a unique recipe for creating Casas, positive communities in shared housing: recruitment processes, events, responsive team support, and an ideal living environment in spacious houses.
At La Casa, we renovate real estate properties close to public transportation to transform them into shared housing accommodating a larger community of around 12 people on average. This way, we densify residential areas near public transportation, which limits the construction of new housing units and land development.
