As businesses and employees adapt to the post-COVID landscape and the telecommuting revolution, La Casa introduces its Business Edition! It's like a regular Casa, but rented out by companies to accommodate their employees visiting Paris ;) The result: a lodging solution for those coming to Paris for work a couple of days a week, a meeting place for teams (offsite, team-building), and an opportunity for companies to recruit talents beyond the Paris region… are you interested? ;) In its current version, La Casa Coliving addresses two major issues:

  • The extremely tight and expensive housing market in Paris for young professionals.

  • The inherent loneliness of living in Paris when arriving for work without an established social circle.

With 26 Casas opened to date, 360 roommates settled in, and a 100% occupancy rate, we support our Residents every day to ensure they have the best possible experience in their Casa and within the Casa community!

Moreover, with the health crisis, La Casa Coliving has also responded to new needs of young professionals already based in the Île-de-France region:

  • Staying close to Paris while having a garden and roommates to spend time with.

  • Having a comfortable remote work space (during the lockdown, but also since it has been permanently adopted by companies).

And our already settled roommates have highly praised living at La Casa during the lockdown! We have seen some of our roommates leave Paris for good and take advantage of remote work to live in the provinces. They then returned to Île-de-France only occasionally, taking advantage of a hybrid remote work policy implemented by their company.

These internal observations were confirmed after the summer by unequivocal figures:

  • 30% of HR directors have faced the sudden relocation of employees to the provinces since the crisis.

  • 57% of those under 35 would prefer to quit their job if their management required a return to 100% office presence.

  • The flexibility of a position, and therefore the possibility of remote work, has become the 4th most important criterion for candidates, on par with job description, location, or salary.

However, telecommuting has also given rise to complex issues:

  • Double housing budget for employees based in the provinces who need to come to Paris two or three days a week.

  • Loneliness in the evenings in a city where they no longer live.

  • Difficulty for companies to maintain a corporate culture.


In light of these observations and leveraging our expertise in community-focused living and social connection creation, we are launching Casas… Business Edition!

How does it work?

We define together the search perimeter for your Business Casa. Once the house is validated, we give you three months to reflect internally on what you wish to do… The Casa is reserved for you! If the decision is yes, you rent your Casa for 12 months and then offer it to your employees via our reservation application. We take care of the logistics: we manage the maintenance...
