The July afterwork: an event for roommates from all the Casas!

You often ask us how roommate recruitment works at La Casa. In our Casas, roommates are chosen because they share common values and a taste for La Casa's theme. This is the recipe to ensure good harmony and a great atmosphere in the shared living space!

When a new Casa opens, we start by seeking out Founders who are motivated to establish a coliving community. This is what we did for the first three Casas and have just replicated for La Casa Verte de Créteil. Here are some details about this role and the criteria we consider important to become a "Founder".

When we open a new Casa, we need to build the initial community by recruiting roommates. Our goal is to find candidates motivated by community living, by the La Casa project, and by the theme of the house. They then go through several stages aimed at introducing them to the concept and integrating them into the community. The final step is the meeting with the Founders.

Submitting an online application for a Casa is the first step in the coliving adventure. This is done directly on our website. After filling out their motivation questionnaire, candidates choose a time slot for an initial video conference meeting with a staff member (it's nicer for discussing!).
